AURA READING
This is an Aura photograph taken by a specialised camera. Aura cameras have come a long way since the first Kirlian camera in the 1970's.
The Aura is an electromagnetic field that surrounds living bodies, this includes people, animals, plants and crystals and is composed of several layers that are constantly moving. For those of us who are lucky enough to see auras here is a photo of one. The colours are influenced by our moods and emotions and by Spirit activity, likewise our moods and emotions will influence how far our aura expands e.g. when we are happy our aura expands and when we are depressed it shrinks in on itself. Other shapes and bubbles within the aura are common. It is on the aura that psychics base their readings for the past, present and future is contained within it.
Colours represent different emotions and abilities if we take the photo on the left, this is my interpretation of it. The man has a red area to his right which is indicative of anger and upset the fact to his left he has a pink/purple area is representative of love and spiritual activity, to me this means there is some conflict here and upset over some area of love. You will notice there is also a very white silvery blue area, this denotes spirit activity and I would say this is this man's guide, who has come into his vicinity to impart love from spirit and heal the situation and help heal the hurt and anger in his relationship. This is reinforced by the green area moving in on the same side, greens denote balance and healing. On his left you can see a yellow area, yellow is associated with thinking and knowledge and learning. How I read this together I would see, he has been thinking deeply about a relationship that has caused him to feel upset and angry and spirit have moved in to help calm his anger and see the situation for what it is. Red over his base chakra area is normal as red is the colour of this chakra and this chakra is associated with base feelings and the genital area, red is also associated with passion, so this relationship obviously evokes a lot of passion and feelings. The area to his left, the right in the photo is representative of the future, so as I see it, he will calm down and I feel he will be more understanding.

A PSYCHIC DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE
I was born being able to see the Aura and I can now switch it on and off, which is just as well really but in this exercise I am going to try and explain how you can see this for yourself. When you begin to be able to view the Aura, you generally see the Etheric Body, there are several layers and this layer is closest to the physical body and is a complete blueprint of your physical body. If you have had organs or limbs removed they will still be present in your Etheric Body.
You will need at least one other person to do this exercise, they can be standing or sitting it doesn't matter however you will need to get them to stand or sit in front of a plain coloured wall. Some people prefer a light coloured wall others a dark, it's what works best for you and you can try both.
With your partner placed in front of the wall and it doesn't matter if they are facing you or facing away open your eyes wide, now its a bit difficult to describe but you have to allow your eyes to go floppy and to let your vision relax as if day dreaming and out of focus, but here is the tricky part. You stare at your partner until it gets uncomfortable and just before you have to blink you will get a perfect view of the Etheric body. Now this layer has a distinctive beautiful colour that radiates from the physical. I wont lead you on and tell you what colour it is as I want you to see this for yourself. After you have practised this a few times you will be able to view this layer a lot easier.
You can leave me a comment below what you actually view. It's not just humans who have an Aura but all animals and plants do too as do crystals who have some of the most beautiful. The illustration here will give you a rough idea how far this layer emulates from the body
TOUGH TIMES
" Life has many lessons, a lot of them we do not understand at the time we face them, but they all have a purpose. These lessons are only to help us grow and get stronger. Never stress over things that come up in life that are out of your control. Just know there is victory in the end. If you learn the lesson the first time, you will not have to repeat it over and over again."
This is so true we only realise how far we have come when we look back on our lives, then and only then do we see the bigger picture for at the time we cannot see the wood for the trees. It's only we we have come through adversity that we realise just how strong we have become. This is not designed to make us hardened in life but to enable us to support and give strength and comfort to those around us, whom who's paths we inadvertently come across, to be able to show empathy and understanding.
Never forget we will always meet others on our paths who are there to help us. When the days are long and dark and our struggles seem endless, we will never be alone to face pain and adversity. The Universe is kind.
Sometimes we need to be taken so low, but this is for our growth, but you will never be taken so low you cannot rise. Have faith, trust and the strength and support we need will be there always
CUTTING TIES RITUAL
If you have ever experienced a broken relationship you will understand when I say it feels as if part of you is missing, this is because in effect is what has happened. When you have deep feelings for someone your auric field reaches out to that other person like a tentacle to be with them. People who are deeply in love will often say that their loved one is with them. However when that relationship breaks up suddenly it does literally, create this sensation that part of you is missing.
This is not the same as when a relationship ends due to the other person passing over in death so do not try this ritual to get over a bereavement. Grieving is a natural process.
CUTTING TIES RITUAL WHEN A RELATIONSHIP HAS ENDED
There are several rituals this is the one I have used and recommend.
It is done through visualisation and can be performed as much as necessary in the passing of time, you will find you wont feel you have the need to do it.
Visualise you are standing opposite the one you wish to cut ties with
And visualise a ribbon of each associated colour with each chakra for example red for base, orange for sacral, yellow for solar plexus, green or pink for the heart, blue for throat, indigo for third eye and purple for crown. These coloured ribbons join each of you together.
As you face one another smile and send love. at the same time visualise a pink cloud surrounding both you feet, pink is associated with love.
Now visualise a pair of ornate golden scissors cutting each ribbon in turn starting at the base chakra, as you cut each ribbon each end curls back to each person and at the same time the pink cloud rises up to obscure the other.
All the time smiling and sending them love to see them on their way. Gradually as you cut you will obscure the person you are cutting ties with and with the final tie complete you have sent them away with love to live their own life and yours.
You will have to do this a few times and every time you think of them do this visualisation, You will notice as time passes you wont think of them so much and you will be able to do the ritual quicker and easier and it will no longer hurt if your thoughts do turn to the person you are cutting ties with.
Do not do this ritual after a bereavement or when you are in an actual relationship with someone. It should only be used when the relationship is over and no longer serves a purpose. To allow you both to move on, one neither hating the other, that is why you smile and send love as you send them on their way.

As well as being a writer I am a Spiritualist/Medium/Psychic. What that means is I have an ability to link into Spirit and pick up their thoughts and feelings. The Spiritualist part is that Spiritualism is my religion.
Being a Medium is a bit like being a radio, a radio receiver picks up sound/radio waves and the radio makes sense of them. You cannot see sound waves nor can you see or hear radio waves, nor can you see the waves/vibrations that are translated into pictures on your television, but you know and accept that it works. Being a Medium is no different and in actual fact the word "Medium" means a vessel i.e. "a receiver".
Mediums and Psychics work on two different levels. The psychic vibrations are closer to the Earth Plane and it may surprise you to know that each and everyone of you have the ability to develop this sense.
In days gone by as we evolved as a species, this 6th sense (the psychic for that's all it is) was part of our survival mechanism. Designed to keep us safe and out of danger i.e. that "gut feeling" that something was wrong or that we smelt danger. However as we became more civilized we began to depend less on our instinct and our psychic sense. Animals however still have this ability and if you watch your cat or dog you will see them tap into this sense.
This ability can be tapped and developed with training and it was one of my jobs as a tutor at a well-known college of parapsychology to host a development class.
Mediumship though cannot be developed this is a gift bestowed on the Medium and many a Medium will tell you, "Is it a gift or is it a curse?" It can be both. Mediums work on a higher vibration that that of Psychics and equally they can also work on a psychic level. Mediums have the ability to pick up and interpretate the high vibrations from Spirit, just like a radio.
One of my jobs is that of a working Medium, I give psychic counseling. I am a trained counselor but I tap into my psychic ability to pick up what is happening around the person I am reading for to give me an insight to the root of the problem of why someone has asked for a reading. I further open up to pick up the vibrations of either my spirit guides or from someone who has passed over that knew the person I am reading for. My job as a Medium is to provide 'Survival evidence' i.e. to give the person I am reading for personal information that ONLY they could know. I also begin by identifying the person in Spirit, by providing their name, how they passed over, what they looking like, their age, when they passed, where they lived, their mannerisms and details surrounding the person I am reading for e.g. where they have been recently, what they have been doing, some detail that only they would know. And more often than not I do this over the phone or even online either chat or email so I cannot read their body language. The objective is to provide proof that life goes on after physical death.
Now it may surprise you to know, that NO ONE CAN FORETELL THE FUTURE, anybody who says they can is a charlatan and I will tell you why because we have been given "FREEWILL" in other words our fate is in our own hands.
Before we chose and yes CHOSE! to be incarnated on Earth, we all made our own blueprint of what experiences and lessons we wished to learn. Some of those lessons would not be pleasant but necessary for us to truly understand, compassion, humility and empathy with others. However if we kept the memory clear in our minds, obviously being human we would avoid unpleasant situations, so our memories of our blue print is dulled to our subconscious. Along our life's journey we will meet like minded souls, we will feel rapport with them sometimes other times we will come across the total opposite, some will be part of the blue print to help us achieve the lesson WE OURSELVES planned.
As a Medium I can tap into spirit and namely the person I am reading for, loved ones in Spirit, who can help give guidance and reassurance they are not alone in their tasks. One word of warning though! if you didn't take Auntie Mary's advice when she was on Earth, you don't have to from her in Spirit either. What Spirit can do though is help clarify and help the reader see their situation from another viewpoint.
There is a saying, "Cant see the wood for the trees" that's exactly why many people come for counseling, they cannot see what is right under their nose, what has been there all along. Well Mediumship can help the person seeking an answer find that answer within themselves. And indeed we do have all the answers to our problems within ourselves; we have just forgotten how to listen. To listen to our own Spirit for after all that is what we are Spirit incarnated in a human body.

Many of us have a favourite, mine is number six: "Retribution and compensation for all souls", which basically means, what you give out in life you will get back tenfold. We also believe as well as God, we believe in Spirit, for not only can we pray or ask God for advice, we can ask advice from Spirit Guides. These are souls, who are highly developed and lived many life times, who have evolved and become truer in spirit. They aim is to guide us, help us, follow our spiritual path, and show us how to become better people. Like Christianity we believe we live on after physical death, but we go on to seek proof of survival, evidence to prove to someone who has come for a reading, that their loved ones are still alive and well albeit not in the physical sense.
Medium's use a variety of means to connect with Spirit, and all of use have had this ability since birth. You cannot learn to become a Medium, it is a gift, it can be developed and tuned, but it is God given. Please do not confuse us with Psychics, for this is where we differ. All Mediums possess a psychic ability, but not all psychics are Mediums, we work on different planes. The Psychic works by connecting to the Auric field i.e. the electromagnetic energy field that surrounds all living things. This can give the psychic details of out past and present, future, well that is never written in stone, for we all have free will. The Medium will often begin a reading tapping into this to begin with as this often gives an indication of the nature as to why they were consulted and some will use a Mantic tool, such as Crystals, Tarot etc.
At some point and generally its near the begining of a reading with me, I will connect with Spirit. Now no Medium can summon a Spirit to order, it doesn't work that way, but generally when someone comes for a reading it's because they have something troubling them and their own Spirit guides (yes we all have them) will know what the problem is and may well bring someone who has passed away recently (if they have suffered a bereavement) or a relative, be it a father, mother etc. who wishes to pass on comfort or advice or simply pass on just love.
A reading is no way creepy or frightening what so ever, sometimes I see spirit in the physical sense but as I have developed my skills as a Medium, more often than not I see spirit in my minds eye, this is termed 'Mental Mediumship'. I have never known anyone to come away frightened but every person who has visited a genuine Medium, will seek to find evidence and tell the person who they are doing the reading for, some sort of proof, only they would know. This is very comforting to them to know their loved ones live on and are watching over them. All will go away uplifted. We don't sit in the dark, with candles lit, not do we wear big gold hooped earrings and colourful scarfs on our heads. We just look normal and we are, but we have this ability to be sensitive albeit like radio picks up sound waves, to pick up communication from beyond the grave.

EXERCISE FOR SENSING AND FEELING THE AURA
Ideally carried out as a group but this exercise needs a minimum of two people. Divide the group into pairs and one of the pair sits on a chair close to and facing the wall. The second person stands several feet away and to allow the second person to have an indication of how detecting the aura feels like ask them to rub their hands together then pull them slowly apart, there will be a tingling sensation and as the hands are pulled apart and pushed together, there will be a bit of a bounce like you are playing with an invisible ball.
With the first person facing the wall, ask the person sitting on the chair to think of very happy thoughts and concentrate on this. The second person with hands outstretched walks forward to the seated person, being alert and aware of any tingling warm, cool sensations. When these are detected stop and notice how far away the second person is away from the seated person. With the sensation detected, like the invisible ball before the second person should be able to push and pull gently what they are feeling.
Repeat the exercise above but this time ask the seated person to think of something very sad and focus of being negative. Note this time how far the second person is away from the seated person.
Swap over and repeat the two steps above. What have you noticed? there should be a consistency, what is it?
Everybody is capable with working on a psychic level, it is our sixth sense. When man was evolving it was this special sense, that kept us safe, it was an inner knowing, a gut feeling that helped protect us and survive danger. Animals still use this sense, you might like think of it as being akin to instinct.
The psychic level is our link with 'the ethos', the Universe, where all knowledge can be sought.
It is perfectly possible to develop this ability, through finding a development class or from various techniques and exercises that can be found in suitable reading literature. Some people are naturally good psychics and it is perfectly possible to develop naturally. However this can be frightening for some, in which case a development class is the best option where the student will be under the tutelage of an experienced medium.
So just what is psychic energy, it is an energy lower than that of spiritual energy but it gives us insight and ability to gain knowledge from the past, present and future. We can do this by linking in to the universe, where the answers we are seeking to anything can be found. We do this by using our subconscious mind, the same part of the brain that is active when we are dreaming or under hypnosis. Our subconscious mind absorbs every piece of information given to us, every thought, every event in our present life and those we had before. The trouble is gaining access to this information, it is a skill, and like all skills can be developed.
Ah! the future, you say, that sounds interesting, and who on earth doesn't want to know at some point in their lives, what will befall them, whether it is, 'Will I pass this exam?', 'Will I get the job?' or 'When will I move house?' Therein lies the problem. It is truly impossible to truly predict the future accurately, we have all been issued with 'Free Will', nothing is written in stone, so it can only be a guide, as we all have the ability to make our own futures and life is what you make it.
So What is Mediumship?
The word 'medium' means a vessel, literally. Mediums have the ability to link with spirit and communicate with them. When the physical body dies, the mind lives on, it is our mind that is our soul, our spirit. The term 'ghosts' are not spirit at all, a ghost is akin to a tape recording the vibrations of that person, and generally the recording is deposited and left behind after a particularly traumatic event in that person's life whilst they were here on earth. The event was so traumatic as to have caused immense distress to that person, all the emotions, feelings and mental anguish made a mark on where these strong emotions were experienced. Generally the so called 'ghost' follows the same pattern, an anniversary of the sighting might be experienced on the same date year after year for example. It is impossible to communicate with a ghost as it is a 'recording' and not a spirit.
So the spirit is the mind energy of someone who was once alive at sometime on earth, and the only difference now is they don't have a physical body. We as humans on earth just now are spirit in a human body that is the only difference.
Mediumship is not something that can be acquired through attending a course like psychic ability, it is a gift given to us by the 'Godhead' to be utilised for the highest good for mankind.
Everything on earth and in 'heaven' has a vibration, an energy, mediums have the ability to 'tune in' to this vibration and interpret ate it; a bit like turning the tuning dial on a radio to locate a station. After all each radio station has its own wave length and by turning the tuning dial we locate another channel. We know that sound waves exist, we cannot see them, but we know they are there for when we turn on the TV or radio, they are responsible for enabling us to watch and listen to our favourite program. This is exactly what a medium is, we have been gifted this 'tuning dial' that is all.
So when someone passes over, I prefer this term to death, it is only the physical human body that perishes, the person's mind still exists, with all the personality and foibles that made that person who they are, their character. Mediums therefore have the ability to tune into each souls vibration and pick up messages for their loved ones they left behind when their physical body perished.
Mediums are also psychic as spiritual vibrations resonate at a higher frequency than that of the psychic so have the ability to work on both levels. A medium cannot conjure up spirit, The link between spirit and those on earth is love and that bond can never be broken and lives on for all eternity. So all the medium can do is to ask for those loved ones to come forward if they have any messages of love to gift for those they have left behind on earth.
Most of the work a medium does is to provide survival evidence. 'Survival' evidence is knowledge that cannot be gained by the medium themselves about the person they are giving a sitting to, it is generally only something that the sitter would know, and often can only be confirmed by another relative, proof that their loved ones in spirit exist. Mediums are not there to foretell the future, the loved ones in spirit may well give a little information purely as proof of survival and as long as it did not hinder any progress in life for the sitter. And remember if you didn't take advice from 'Grandad' when he was alive you don't have to now he's passed over, he still has exactly the same personality and character as he did when he was' here'.
So how do mediums communicate with spirit, we do this with our minds, to be totally honest I have had this ability for as long as I can remember, and truthfully I really don't know, but I have over the years been able to recognise various sensations, that alert me that spirit are around, sensations like differences in temperature, tingling etc.
Mediums communicate in different ways, sometimes through 'clairvoyance' which means clear seeing, where the medium actually sees the spirit, now this can be in one of two ways or even both, where the medium sees the spirit as if looking at someone in real life, in the physical, the spirit may even be transparent or in their minds eye, this is known as 'Mental Mediumship'. Personally myself I see spirit in both these ways.
In 'clairaudience', this means hearing, now this can be actually hearing a voice that you is not your own, or it can sound like your own, but its not your thoughts, and don't worry, I am quite sane lol!
In 'clairsentience', this is feeling, sensing, the spirit, in this the medium senses the emotions, mental state of the spirit, almost as if the spirit imposes their themselves over you.
Most mediums use one or two of these abilities, myself I combine all three, when I link with them, this enables me to experience all their emotions, see what they looked like and hear what they are saying.
Now as I've said everything in the universe has its own vibration, Earth having the lowest in spiritual terms. After Earth comes the Astral realm, it is on this realm that we travel when we dream, its not unusual to see friends etc, in dream state, after all they will be travelling this realm too at night lol. It is on this realm where lower Elementals reside, i.e. wood nymphs, nature spirits, elves and fairies amongst others, and as often as in the case spirit who are trapped unable to move on also reside in this vibration. this is the same vibration used in psychic work. There are several spiritual realms each having a different vibration, with the most Celestial where the realms of the Angels are.
When the medium links with spirit, he or she has the ability to raise their own vibration that bit higher, loved ones in spirit who are around us at a given time, whether it is to help their loved ones on earth or sometimes it is an anniversary of their passing, will have lowered their vibration and the medium is then able to pick up these vibrations and interpret ate them. Unfortunately for the medium, it is not so easy and difficult to maintain this link continuously, hence some information may be lost, complete names for example and sentences to explain: 'the fat black cat sat on the red mat', what the medium might hear because of the fluctuating vibration would be: 'the back sat on mat', hence some information is lost.
For some reason spirit sometimes work with a type of shorthand i.e. symbols, these symbols have to be and worked out by the medium for example to me, seeing a ring might mean a marriage or partnership, it might mean something differently entirely to another medium, we each have our own, it is a way of communicating at a fast vibrational level. When messages from spirit come in to the medium's mind the arrive very fast and to help the medium 'catch' and interpret ate these messages quickly the shorthand helps speed up the process.
One of the most accurate ways of obtaining information from spirit is by doing absent readings, here the sitter is not present and the medium can link in with the sitter either by thinking about them or by viewing a photograph, sometimes an example of handwriting is useful. In this method the medium will ask any spirit links to come forward with any messages for the sitter. This is a particularly accurate method, for the medium cannot read the sitter's body language or by careful questioning gleam any information from the sitter as they are absent, many mediums work best in this area and each medium will eventually find a method suitable for them.
I myself personally like to work with Tarot, this works on the psychic level first of all, and in doing his gives an insight to the sitter's past, present and future, for all that can be picked up from the sitter's auric field: and then I raise the vibration to link with spirit, to bring forward any messages from the spirit realms. They are there to guide and support us in our 'School on earth'. Why is it we never remember what we planned before we came here? Often we incarnate in the same soul groups, the soul is neither male nor female, and we choose which sex we will be to experience life and views from that perspective. With the first person facing the wall, ask the person sitting on the chair to think of very happy thoughts and concentrate on this. The second person with hands outstretched walks forward to the seated person, being alert and aware of any tingling warm, cool sensations. When these are detected stop and notice how far away the second person is away from the seated person. With the sensation detected, like the invisible ball before the second person should be able to push and pull gently what they are feeling.
Repeat the exercise above but this time ask the seated person to think of something very sad and focus of being negative. Note this time how far the second person is away from the seated person.

Everybody is capable with working on a psychic level, it is our sixth sense. When man was evolving it was this special sense, that kept us safe, it was an inner knowing, a gut feeling that helped protect us and survive danger. Animals still use this sense, you might like think of it as being akin to instinct.
The psychic level is our link with 'the ethos', the Universe, where all knowledge can be sought.
It is perfectly possible to develop this ability, through finding a development class or from various techniques and exercises that can be found in suitable reading literature. Some people are naturally good psychics and it is perfectly possible to develop naturally. However this can be frightening for some, in which case a development class is the best option where the student will be under the tutelage of an experienced medium.
So just what is psychic energy, it is an energy lower than that of spiritual energy but it gives us insight and ability to gain knowledge from the past, present and future. We can do this by linking in to the universe, where the answers we are seeking to anything can be found. We do this by using our subconscious mind, the same part of the brain that is active when we are dreaming or under hypnosis. Our subconscious mind absorbs every piece of information given to us, every thought, every event in our present life and those we had before. The trouble is gaining access to this information, it is a skill, and like all skills can be developed.
Ah! the future, you say, that sounds interesting, and who on earth doesn't want to know at some point in their lives, what will befall them, whether it is, 'Will I pass this exam?', 'Will I get the job?' or 'When will I move house?' Therein lies the problem. It is truly impossible to truly predict the future accurately, we have all been issued with 'Free Will', nothing is written in stone, so it can only be a guide, as we all have the ability to make our own futures and life is what you make it.
So What is Mediumship?
The word 'medium' means a vessel, literally. Mediums have the ability to link with spirit and communicate with them. When the physical body dies, the mind lives on, it is our mind that is our soul, our spirit. The term 'ghosts' are not spirit at all, a ghost is akin to a tape recording the vibrations of that person, and generally the recording is deposited and left behind after a particularly traumatic event in that person's life whilst they were here on earth. The event was so traumatic as to have caused immense distress to that person, all the emotions, feelings and mental anguish made a mark on where these strong emotions were experienced. Generally the so called 'ghost' follows the same pattern, an anniversary of the sighting might be experienced on the same date year after year for example. It is impossible to communicate with a ghost as it is a 'recording' and not a spirit.
So the spirit is the mind energy of someone who was once alive at sometime on earth, and the only difference now is they don't have a physical body. We as humans on earth just now are spirit in a human body that is the only difference.
Mediumship is not something that can be acquired through attending a course like psychic ability, it is a gift given to us by the 'Godhead' to be utilised for the highest good for mankind.
Everything on earth and in 'heaven' has a vibration, an energy, mediums have the ability to 'tune in' to this vibration and interpret ate it; a bit like turning the tuning dial on a radio to locate a station. After all each radio station has its own wave length and by turning the tuning dial we locate another channel. We know that sound waves exist, we cannot see them, but we know they are there for when we turn on the TV or radio, they are responsible for enabling us to watch and listen to our favourite program. This is exactly what a medium is, we have been gifted this 'tuning dial' that is all.
So when someone passes over, I prefer this term to death, it is only the physical human body that perishes, the person's mind still exists, with all the personality and foibles that made that person who they are, their character. Mediums therefore have the ability to tune into each souls vibration and pick up messages for their loved ones they left behind when their physical body perished.
Mediums are also psychic as spiritual vibrations resonate at a higher frequency than that of the psychic so have the ability to work on both levels. A medium cannot conjure up spirit, The link between spirit and those on earth is love and that bond can never be broken and lives on for all eternity. So all the medium can do is to ask for those loved ones to come forward if they have any messages of love to gift for those they have left behind on earth.
Most of the work a medium does is to provide survival evidence. 'Survival' evidence is knowledge that cannot be gained by the medium themselves about the person they are giving a sitting to, it is generally only something that the sitter would know, and often can only be confirmed by another relative, proof that their loved ones in spirit exist. Mediums are not there to foretell the future, the loved ones in spirit may well give a little information purely as proof of survival and as long as it did not hinder any progress in life for the sitter. And remember if you didn't take advice from 'Grandad' when he was alive you don't have to now he's passed over, he still has exactly the same personality and character as he did when he was' here'.
So how do mediums communicate with spirit, we do this with our minds, to be totally honest I have had this ability for as long as I can remember, and truthfully I really don't know, but I have over the years been able to recognise various sensations, that alert me that spirit are around, sensations like differences in temperature, tingling etc.
Mediums communicate in different ways, sometimes through 'clairvoyance' which means clear seeing, where the medium actually sees the spirit, now this can be in one of two ways or even both, where the medium sees the spirit as if looking at someone in real life, in the physical, the spirit may even be transparent or in their minds eye, this is known as 'Mental Mediumship'. Personally myself I see spirit in both these ways.
In 'clairaudience', this means hearing, now this can be actually hearing a voice that you is not your own, or it can sound like your own, but its not your thoughts, and don't worry, I am quite sane lol!
In 'clairsentience', this is feeling, sensing, the spirit, in this the medium senses the emotions, mental state of the spirit, almost as if the spirit imposes their themselves over you.
Most mediums use one or two of these abilities, myself I combine all three, when I link with them, this enables me to experience all their emotions, see what they looked like and hear what they are saying.
Now as I've said everything in the universe has its own vibration, Earth having the lowest in spiritual terms. After Earth comes the Astral realm, it is on this realm that we travel when we dream, its not unusual to see friends etc, in dream state, after all they will be travelling this realm too at night lol. It is on this realm where lower Elementals reside, i.e. wood nymphs, nature spirits, elves and fairies amongst others, and as often as in the case spirit who are trapped unable to move on also reside in this vibration. this is the same vibration used in psychic work. There are several spiritual realms each having a different vibration, with the most Celestial where the realms of the Angels are.
When the medium links with spirit, he or she has the ability to raise their own vibration that bit higher, loved ones in spirit who are around us at a given time, whether it is to help their loved ones on earth or sometimes it is an anniversary of their passing, will have lowered their vibration and the medium is then able to pick up these vibrations and interpret ate them. Unfortunately for the medium, it is not so easy and difficult to maintain this link continuously, hence some information may be lost, complete names for example and sentences to explain: 'the fat black cat sat on the red mat', what the medium might hear because of the fluctuating vibration would be: 'the back sat on mat', hence some information is lost.
For some reason spirit sometimes work with a type of shorthand i.e. symbols, these symbols have to be and worked out by the medium for example to me, seeing a ring might mean a marriage or partnership, it might mean something differently entirely to another medium, we each have our own, it is a way of communicating at a fast vibrational level. When messages from spirit come in to the medium's mind the arrive very fast and to help the medium 'catch' and interpret ate these messages quickly the shorthand helps speed up the process.
One of the most accurate ways of obtaining information from spirit is by doing absent readings, here the sitter is not present and the medium can link in with the sitter either by thinking about them or by viewing a photograph, sometimes an example of handwriting is useful. In this method the medium will ask any spirit links to come forward with any messages for the sitter. This is a particularly accurate method, for the medium cannot read the sitter's body language or by careful questioning gleam any information from the sitter as they are absent, many mediums work best in this area and each medium will eventually find a method suitable for them.

These entities live in the lower astral realms and they feed on negative energy, like everything else there is balance in the Universe, cause and effect, good and bad, so obviously they do not like the shift in negative energy, so you may find light bulbs will blow, computers act up, it will pass, focus on the positive and visualise this positive energy flowing throughout your home.
When it comes to smudging people and possessions its basically the same technique wafting the smoke around yourself and visualising covering you and washing and cleansing all the negative energy into positive energy, same with the bell, its often easier to get a helper to do this for you, remember the key is by thought and intent.
If you use incense or sage and sweet grass be careful when dealing with flames.
You should notice a difference almost immediately the atmosphere will feel lighter and you may get a sudden energy rush.

Basically how I read it, it's time to take stock and control of your life, you have allowed situations and others to control you, this was because of your own fears and weaknesses and that there is part of your own psyche you didn't like, now its time to face up to all your faults, warts and all and do something about it. Essentially it means change and the time has come to change what you do not like about yourself, this will give you a new found freedom and you can break free from these shackles
Although scrying is most commonly done with a crystal ball, it may also be performed using any smooth surface, such as a bowl of liquid, a pond, or a crystal. When I am reading tarot I use a combination method for divining the cards, I am aware of the basic meanings of each card but I take this on to a much deeper level by scrying the illustrations on the cards themselves. In actual fact Scrying doesn't just stop at water, glass, smoke etc. tea leaves, coffee grounds, sand ,candle flames and a fire even the clouds can be used.
Scrying has be used by many cultures and belief systems and is not limited to one tradition or ideology, like other aspects of divination and parapsychology, scrying is not supported by mainstream science as a method of predicting the future or otherwise seeing events that are not physically observable.
The visions that scryers say they see may come from variations in the object used. If the object used is water (hydromancy), then the visions may come from the colour, ebb and flow, or ripples produced by pebbles dropped in a pool. If the object used is a crystal ball, the visions may come from the tiny scratches, marks, faults, or the cloudy glow within the ball under low light (e.g., candlelight). One method of scrying using a crystal ball involves a self-induced trance and when in this state it is perceived to be able to tap into our subconscious mind or higher self and be able to key into psychic vibrations and Universal knowledge
One of the most famous scryers in history, lived in the 16th century and was known as Nostradamus. He used a bowl of water or a "magic mirror" to "see" the future in it, while he was in trance.
TEA LEAVES OR COFFEE GROUNDS DIVINATION
Was something traditionally carried out by women, it was something practiced by my beloved grandmother herself a spiritualist Medium.
To do this you will need a wide cup and saucer and loose tea, tea bags are no use what so ever, or coarse ground coffee and do not strain the tea/coffee when pouring it into the cup.
Before even drinking the tea/coffee you can begin the reading, bubbles on the surface after pouring suggests money is on the way, if any tea leaves are floating on the surface, then visitors are imminent. The number of leaves shows how many days away they are, if two teaspoons are accidently placed on a saucer, then you can expect news of twins soon.
After you have drunk the tea/coffee as much as you can without drinking the leaves/grounds tip the cup upside down on to the saucer and turn round three times clockwise, then up turn and you are ready to begin the reading.
Look at the arrangement of the leaves look for patterns and images, are the scattered fewly suggesting a tidy ordered life or are there lots suggesting a rich and busy life.
Hold the cup so the handle faces the questioner and this represents the questioner and their home how far the leaves are away from the handle represents how far the symbols are away from the questioner. Leaves that lie to the rim of the cup represent recent events and leaves that lie close to the bottom of the cup represent the distant past and leaves on the bottom represent misfortune. Leaves that lie to the right of the handle indicate the future, and leaves to the left of the handle indicate the past. The further away the leaves lie from the handle, the further away the events are in either time or even physical distance.
Look inside the cup what are your first impressions. Any distinct drops of tea or coffee that remain in the cup despite the swirling and emptying of the cup, represent tears. A very large clump of tea leaves indicates trouble. Near the handle - trouble caused by your own making. Opposite the handle - the trouble is not your fault.Tea-stalks indicate people. Long stalks indicate men. Shorter stalks indicate women. Pale or dark stalks indicate colouring. Slanted stalks indicate untrustworthy people.

HOW THE HAND FEELS
FINGER LENGTH
The length of the fingers supplies various information about the character. A long-fingered person is analytical and academic, liking to study things in detail. A person with markedly short fingers is very practical and intuitive, liking to go with their gut instinct. When the hands are in proportion it shows a balanced personality. The proportion of the fingers in relation to each other is very important. They each stand for a character marking and indicate the strength of that quality.
Rings on the fingers can indicate character traits.
LIFE LINE
The life line travels around the thumb. This tells us about the subject’s physical health: the stronger the line the better the physical constitution. If the line looks weak and frayed then it could be a sign of delicate health. Again it is worth noting that we can’t make a deduction from one line alone as other markings might compensate the weakness. The line also tells us about particular events in the subject’s life, especially big changes and the affects of other people.
HEAD LINE
The Head line has the same starting point as the life line (near the thumb) and then goes across the palm. It shows the the way you think. The longer it is the more potential you have. And the clearer it is the more strong-minded / focused you are.
A straight head line shows a practical and logical person. They can be over-analytical, especially when it comes to love.
A gently curving head line shows a balance between the practical and the creative. They have their feet on the ground and are flexible enough to adapt. A steeply curving head line shows a very imaginative and creative person. They have plenty of ideas and inspiration but can find it difficult to keep their feet on the ground.
HEART LINE
The heart line stands for your emotions. It starts from the edge of the hand (from the little finger side) and travels across the top of the palm. It is especially important when it comes to relationships. When the heart line ends between the forefinger and the middle finger it means you are emotional and passionate.
When the heart line ends underneath the middle finger it means that you can be self-centered in relationships and need to consider your partner more. When the heart line travels across the top of the hand it means you are more interested in the mental side of the relationship. You don't like great displays of emotion.
When the heart line is short and doesn't go past the middle finger it means you are very cool with your emotions and the physical side is the most important thing in relationships. When the heart line ends in a fork it shows a balance with your emotions: you are very adaptable in that sphere.
HEART / HEAD LINE COMBINATIONS
The lines have various markings on them. This guide is very brief but you will see how these two lines are inter-related to each other. This modifies the meaning and gives texture to the interpretation.
When the heart line appears low in the hand and looks like it’s pushing down on the head line, it means that you are ruled by your emotions.
When the head line appears high in the hand and looks like it’s pushing up on the heart line, it means that you are ruled by your intellect. The gap between the heart line and the head line is called the quadrangle. When it is narrow it means you could be close-minded.
When the quadrangle is wide it means you are probably open-minded. If the quadrangle starts narrow and gets wider it means you become more open as you get older.
The gap between the beginning of the head line and the life line is significant. A wide space means an independent nature from an early age. If the two lines are tied together it means a cautious nature-especially if they look chained which means shyness.
Cleansing with aroma, (any light scent will do that you like) first inhale the scent in cupped hands, then sweep over the body and down to the ground. It is possible to obtain special preparations for this, but any light scented perfume will do, and even better if you particularly like it!
Protective mirrors in bad attacks.
If you know what direction the harm is coming from, place a small mirror in your window facing that direction saying:-
"Mirror bright-mirror clear protect from harm all who bide here"
Instead of the bubble exercise you may use a hooded, floor length cloak or a shield decorated with a protective design of your choice. The shield idea is versatile as you can use a ‘mini shield’ over any area you feel vulnerable, such as your solar plexus.
If you shower in the morning visualise the water flowing through your energy field carrying away any negativity down the plughole with it. If you prefer a bath you may add sea or rock salt to the water- about a cupful- dissolve it well. Salt has long been renowned for its cleansing properties.
Visualise a shower of light running through your aura and dissolving any negativity.
Stay grounded. Visualise roots growing deep down into the Earth from the soles of your feet. Being ‘well grounded’ offers a great deal of protection. Practice your grounding visualisation every morning and whenever you feel ‘spacey’. Carry hematite or another grounding stone with you if necessary.

Smudging what is it? and why do it?

Well over time energy builds up, every time we think, we create a 'thoughtform' this thoughtform is energy and it become tangible, in other words it creates an effect. When you think how many thoughts you have in a day, you can see that is an awful lot of energy built up. What is worse when you get into a negative state of mind and you worry you put all this negative energy out in to your surroundings and because of the "The law of vibration and attraction" negative attracts negative, so this energy builds up and attracts even more and before you know it you worry even more, you attract back luck into your life and its a hard cycle to get out off. So what do you do. Well first no matter what you focus on the positive but that alone is not easy, you need to give your surroundings a bit of a helping hand hence 'Smudging'
Before you begin smudging to help attract positive energy around you need to de-clutter and clear out and tidy up. Any dead or dying houseplants/flowers have got to go. Empty bins and get rid of belongings that no longer serve you well, if you haven't worn it or used it for a year chances are you wont ever, so recycle it. Do the laundry, and tidy and clean your home, you can now smudge your surroundings.
Some people like to have a regular schedule for smudging and you don't have to stop at homes, you can work on people (if they allow it) yourself and your possessions. It's a good idea if you feel the energy in your home has changed or you are feeling down to smudge. There are many methods and the traditional method is with sage and sweet grass and an abalone shell and with a feather. You light the sage and sweet grass bundle blow on it till smouldering and carry it in the abalone shell, this will induce smoke. The feather is used to waft the smoke to the areas you wish to smoke, remember you are dealing with a naked flame so be sensible and don't use it near combustible materials or gas sources etc. You can use incense Frankincense is ideal or a bell or even clap your hands if you have nothing available to hand. What is important is the intent. You are smudging to remove negative energy and attract positive energy in its place.
With rooms, homes, after you have de cluttered and cleaned, in each corner of each room, either waft the smoke, ring the bell or clap and with your mind focused and with intent ask that the negative energy is changed into positive energy. The reason I say changed if you simply ask for the negative energy to be removed, you are moving it out into the atmosphere and sending it to someone else.
You may find you have a bit of interference from Lower Elementals.

Before you begin smudging to help attract positive energy around you need to de-clutter and clear out and tidy up. Any dead or dying houseplants/flowers have got to go. Empty bins and get rid of belongings that no longer serve you well, if you haven't worn it or used it for a year chances are you wont ever, so recycle it. Do the laundry, and tidy and clean your home, you can now smudge your surroundings.
Some people like to have a regular schedule for smudging and you don't have to stop at homes, you can work on people (if they allow it) yourself and your possessions. It's a good idea if you feel the energy in your home has changed or you are feeling down to smudge. There are many methods and the traditional method is with sage and sweet grass and an abalone shell and with a feather. You light the sage and sweet grass bundle blow on it till smouldering and carry it in the abalone shell, this will induce smoke. The feather is used to waft the smoke to the areas you wish to smoke, remember you are dealing with a naked flame so be sensible and don't use it near combustible materials or gas sources etc. You can use incense Frankincense is ideal or a bell or even clap your hands if you have nothing available to hand. What is important is the intent. You are smudging to remove negative energy and attract positive energy in its place.
With rooms, homes, after you have de cluttered and cleaned, in each corner of each room, either waft the smoke, ring the bell or clap and with your mind focused and with intent ask that the negative energy is changed into positive energy. The reason I say changed if you simply ask for the negative energy to be removed, you are moving it out into the atmosphere and sending it to someone else.
You may find you have a bit of interference from Lower Elementals.
The universe has its own vibration, Earth having the lowest in spiritual terms. After Earth comes the Astral realm, it is on this realm that we travel when we dream, its not unusual to see friends etc, in dream state, after all they will be traveling this realm too at night lol. It is on this realm where lower Elementals reside, i.e. wood nymphs, nature spirits, elves and fairies amongst others, and as often as in the case spirit who are trapped unable to move on also reside in this vibration. this is the same vibration used in psychic work. There are several spiritual realms each having a different vibration, with the most Celestial where the realms of the Angels are.
These entities live in the lower astral realms and they feed on negative energy, like everything else there is balance in the Universe, cause and effect, good and bad, so obviously they do not like the shift in negative energy, so you may find light bulbs will blow, computers act up, it will pass, focus on the positive and visualise this positive energy flowing throughout your home.
When it comes to smudging people and possessions its basically the same technique wafting the smoke around yourself and visualising covering you and washing and cleansing all the negative energy into positive energy, same with the bell, its often easier to get a helper to do this for you, remember the key is by thought and intent.
If you use incense or sage and sweet grass be careful when dealing with flames.
You should notice a difference almost immediately the atmosphere will feel lighter and you may get a sudden energy rush.

In my many years of working with Spirit and it has been a lifetime, often I am asked about disturbing dreams or experiences, when waking in the night or just drifting off to sleep. These often manifest as frightening faces, or eyes or a sensation you are being attacked. These experiences tend to come when you are very tired and off guard. These experiences are typical of the activities of lower entities and elementals that inhabit the astral plane. The Astral plane is the closest vibration of the several spiritual realms, to earth and it is on this realm we travel when we sleep.
Now everybody is capable of developing their psychic ability, this is not the same as mediumship, where you can communicate with spirit, this psychic ability is inherent to all of us and was designed as a protective mechanism to keep us safe. Animals still use theirs, we have just got out of the habit and in this day and age we do not use it for survival. However some are more psychically aware than others so are able to sense these entities on the Astral Planes. I might add it is the Astral Plane that Psychics use as it is a lower vibration that the ones used by Medium's when they communicate with loved ones in spirit.
Unfortunately when you are developed or starting to develop this psychic ability, it's almost as if you have a beacon above your head and these lower entities can detect who can see them, so they get up to mischief and have what is fun to them, hence the activity and experiences. So what can you do about these experiences, well you have a choice, we all do for remember no matter for whatever reason we came to earth to experience we also have free will. So we can choose to develop our experiences and many latent Mediums start off in this way, some don't progress this far but do develop their psychic abilities, or we can suppress and ignore these abilities, we all have free will. If you wish to develop your ability, then its best to find a good development group and many of these groups can be found in Spiritualist Churches, many others can be found under the guidance of an experienced Medium. If you do not want to take this ability any further that is fine also, but if you do not want these experiences and disturbances, then you need to refrain from reading and dabbling in psychic subjects and if you do get disturbed you have to show no fear when these experiences happen. If this doesn't work then simple table salt sprinkled in the corners of rooms, should be enough to chase them away.
Supposing you will to follow the development path, well remember Universal Laws, there is good and bad, there is a continual balancing of the Universe and Like attracts like, the more spiritual you become the less likely you are to be bothered in this way, if you have good and pure thoughts and don't dwell on the lower side of life, you wont attract this type of energy. At some point all developing Mediums will be shown the dark side, it's a right of passage and I defy any Medium to say they haven't experienced this. In order to understand good, you need to understand the bad, so you can deal with it. How do we deal with the negative and bad we do this through strength of mind for to chase away the bad we need to do so with conviction. We develop strength of mind through the art of Meditation. You will find the better we become in meditating the stronger our minds become, so we are able to turn on and off psychic and mediumistic abilities. We need to be able to do this so we can deal with these entities and communicate more effectively with the world of spirit and also it's very exhausting being tuned in all the time, it uses a great deal of energy up. We also need to learn to protect ourselves from negative energy as this can be terribly exhausting too and you don't need to be a psychic or medium to benefit from this. How many of you have a friend or associate who comes and tells you all their troubles, they make you feel low and tired, of course they go away feeling great, they've off loaded all their negativity onto you. Simple exercises, simply by using visualisation can make the world of a difference when dealing with these negative people and protect us when entering negative surroundings.
One of the simplest protection visualisation exercises is to simply visualise you surround yourself in either golden or silver light, like stepping into a sphere or egg shape and you seal it completely. Next time you feel vulnerable or know you are meeting negative people try this exercise and see how it makes a difference.

Psychics set up telephone hotlines to have you call for a reading and you end up paying hundreds of dollars for it. Psychics will tell you they are here to help, but if they truly wanted to help they would do it for free.
Psychics oftentimes speak half-truths. Notice in the Bible that the slave girl in "Acts 16 (NIV)" spoke the truth initially because Paul and Silas were actually there to preach the Gospel. Keep in mind however that Satan and his demons usually present themselves as angels of light in the beginning. If this were not so, then they would not be able to pull in such a large following of people. The slave girl was merely establishing credibility by speaking a truth and then there would be no problem getting people to believe anything (truth or lie) she said after that.
Saul died because he sought out a psychic. The one Bible event that should make anyone fearful of seeking out psychics today is what happened to King Saul in the Old Testament. In "1 Samuel 28 (NIV)", King Saul was approaching the end of his reign. He had not been in God's will and God basically was not answering his prayers (Saul had prayed for an answer for what to do about the Phillistine Army surrounding the camp at Gilboa). So, Saul disguised himself and went to see the psychic (medium) at Endor. Of course Saul displayed his double standard having already decreed the illegality of psychics. The medium brought up the spirit of Samuel and he told Saul that the next day he would die in battle along with his sons--devastating news for Saul. Q. Are Mediums and Psychics the same?
A.No they are not. Mediums are also Psychics but Psychics are not Mediums. Mediums and Psychics work on two different levels. The psychic vibrations are closer to the Earth Plane and it may surprise you to know that each and everyone of you have the ability to develop this sense.
In days gone by as we evolved as a species, this 6th sense (the psychic for that's all it is) was part of our survival mechanism. Designed to keep us safe and out of danger i.e. that "gut feeling" that something was wrong or that we smelt danger. However as we became more civilized we began to depend less on our instinct and our psychic sense. Animals however still have this ability and if you watch your cat or dog you will see them tap into this sense.
Mediumship though cannot be developed this is a gift bestowed on the Medium and many a Medium will tell you, "Is it a gift or is it a curse?" It can be both. Mediums work on a higher vibration that that of Psychics and equally they can also work on a psychic level. Mediums have the ability to pick up and interpret the high vibrations from Spirit, just like a radio.

What do I need to be able to dowse?
Angle rods: The easiest and simplest of all tools to use. They are just lengths of wire bent at right angles and can be made quite easily from old metal coat-hangers, welding rods, thin brass rod, thick wire., for example; take a pair of wire coat hangers and cut them so that the top is about 9 to 12 inches long and from the angle towards the hook for hanging, about 4 to 5 inches long, then, having cut it, bend the angle to 90 degrees. The short length is held in the hand as the handle, though if its windy and you are using them to locate something outside its best to use something a bit heavier as in brass etc.
Wands: These are just springy lengths of thin branch about 36 inches long and are ideal for dowsing up a wall, for example following the path of an old chimney – these tend to meander up the walls of old houses. A modern materials are taking over and the usual wand is a 36 inch length of fairly thin plastic.
When you dowse focus on the object you are trying to locate and don't tense up keep relaxed so as you don't interfere consciously with the tool you are using. Christianity and Spiritualism
The Christian Church was founded on spirit communication and phenomena that could be described as mediumship. Throughout the bible are many examples of spiritual happenings, inspirational speech, speaking in other languages, spiritual voices, and angel messengers foretelling the coming of prophets. Many Spiritualists believe that Jesus had an exceptional psychic and mediumship ability as illustrated in the reports of his healing powers, inspired teachings, the transfiguration, and the many so-called ‘miracles’ that occurred in his presence. After his death, Jesus was seen and heard by his followers and it seems that mediumship played an important part in the spreading of the new religion.
However, in the 4th century, Christian leaders decided that the use of psychic and mediumship abilities was wrong unless performed by the Christian priesthood. All others who demonstrated spiritual abilities were denounced as ‘false prophets’, evil sorcerers, heretics and were liable to punishment.
In 1484 the Pope strongly denounced mediums. Seven Principles of Spiritualism
Our Seven Principles are legally accepted and a lawfully recognised definition of the religious philosophy of Spiritualism. A brief explanation of each one follows:
The Fatherhood of God
By the study of Nature - that is, by trying to understand the Laws of Cause & Effect which govern all that is happening around us - we recognise that there is a creative force in the universe. We know this power as God and as we are part of the Life created by God, we acknowledge God as our Father.
The Brotherhood of Man
Because we all come from the same universal life source we are, in effect, one large family, small individual offshoot from the whole. This means that all mankind is part of a brotherhood. A brotherhood is a community for mutual support and comfort. We are all members of the same divine family. We need to share our joys as well as our burdens; we need to understand the needs of other individuals in order to assist them as part of our service to each other. As we learn to give so must we also learn to receive thereby achieving the necessary balance for our life. We must look not only to the material necessities of our fellow creatures but also to their spiritual needs and help those in need to become strong and worthy of their relationship in the Family of God.
Communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels
All religions believe in life after death but only Spiritualism shows that it is true by demonstrating that communication with departed spirits can and does take place. Spiritualist Churches provide one of the venues where communication, through mediumship, is possible and many loved relatives and friends take advantage of this opportunity to continue to take an interest in our welfare. There are also spirit people/teachers who are dedicated to the welfare and service of mankind. Some (e.g. Silver Birch) bring inspiration and teachings whilst others work within the healing ministry.
Continuous Existence of the Human Soul
It is scientifically proven that matter (being part of the creative force, or energy) cannot be destroyed; it merely changes its form. Spirit, as part of the Creative Force is, therefore, indestructible. On the death of the physical body, the spirit continues as an integral part of a world, which interpenetrates our world but in a different dimension. This world is referred to as the Spirit World. In spirit life we have a spirit body, which until we progress far enough, is a replica of our earthly body. We are the same individuals in every way with the same personalities and characteristics and we change only by progression, or otherwise, as a result of our own efforts. Our personal responsibilities do not stop at death.
Personal Responsibility
This principle is the one which places responsibility for wrongful thoughts and deeds where it belongs - with the individual. It is the acceptance of responsibility for every aspect of our lives and the use to which we place our lives depends entirely upon ourselves. It is not possible for any other person, or outside influence, to interfere with our spiritual development, unless we are willing to allow this. No one can put right the wrongdoing except the offender. As we are given freedom of choice (freewill) so also are we given the ability to recognise what is right from what is wrong. We are totally, as well as personally, responsible.
Compensation and Retribution hereafter for all Good and Evil Deeds done on Earth
As with all the other Principles, the natural laws apply and this one echoes the law of Cause and Effect (as you sow, so shall you reap). One cannot be cruel and vindictive towards others and expect love and popularity in return. It must be understood that the compensatory or retributive effects of this law operate now -on earth - they do not wait until we begin to live in the Spirit World.
Eternal Progress open to every Human Soul
In every heart there exists the desire for progress and to every human spirit belongs the power to progress in wisdom and love.
All who desire to tread the path that leads to perfection are able to pursue it. The rate of progress is directly proportional to the desire for mental and spiritual understanding. If we do our best in earth life to follow our inward prompting or intuitions; we shall find progress very easy, on earth as in spirit; if not, every step in advancement will follow a struggle against imperfections, which we ourselves will have worked into our natures. Within the Family of God, with all the advantages that our realisation of that state can give us, we are all given the opportunity to be responsible for our own eternal progress.

A family who moved to a homestead in Hydesville, New York State, USA were disturbed by noises, knockings, movements of objects and other unusual phenomena.
The two children Catherine and Margaretta discovered that if they spoke out then the mysterious noises seemed to respond and it became clear that the phenomena were not just random manifestations of energy but were under the control of some invisible intelligence. I forgot to address this query from the last post in depth so doing this now. My explanation: Psychics do this for free, you are paying for their time not their advice, most of the cost of these calls are taken up by the phone companies the lines are rented from and agency overheads, the actual readers only receive a tiny percentage of the fee. Because the psychics time is taken up giving advice, it prevents then working in other occupations and the vast majority of these psychic advisers are highly trained counsellors with professional qualifications. Would you expect to go to a therapist and get this service for free? Oh I admit like any other profession there are poor psychics, some being charlatans however if you go to a reputable agency and there are a few highly respected and reliable ones out there, who take the care to vet and test the psychics and mediums on their books. you wont have any problems. A medium's job is to give you evidence of survival to prove to you the spirit he/she is communicating with is someone you recognise, this is done by describing their appearance, their character, what ailment caused their death, their relationship to you and hopefully their name. We try and find out some facts only be known to the client such as describing a situation around you.
This takes up a great deal of energy to do this and it takes time and counselling advice is given too. I might add that a good counsellor only makes a client aware of their choices and does not tell the client what to do and listens and empathises with the client. And you want all of this for free?

Q. Are Mediums and Psychics the same?
A.No they are not. Mediums are also Psychics but Psychics are not Mediums. Mediums and Psychics work on two different levels. The psychic vibrations are closer to the Earth Plane and it may surprise you to know that each and everyone of you have the ability to develop this sense.
In days gone by as we evolved as a species, this 6th sense (the psychic for that's all it is) was part of our survival mechanism. Designed to keep us safe and out of danger i.e. that "gut feeling" that something was wrong or that we smelt danger. However as we became more civilized we began to depend less on our instinct and our psychic sense. Animals however still have this ability and if you watch your cat or dog you will see them tap into this sense.
Mediumship though cannot be developed this is a gift bestowed on the Medium and many a Medium will tell you, "Is it a gift or is it a curse?" It can be both. Mediums work on a higher vibration that that of Psychics and equally they can also work on a psychic level. Mediums have the ability to pick up and interpret the high vibrations from Spirit, just like a radio.
Q. You mention different levels of vibration what is the difference?
A.There are several planes within the Universe, the lowest being close to Earth see diagram below
It is on the Astral planes we visit when we dream, also on the Astral planes you will find souls who generally because of some trauma are unable to move on and pass over to the realms of Spirit, they appear to be stuck in limbo. The Astral planes is where you will find lower elementals, these are nature spirits, such as elves, nymphs etc and all those negative ones who like to cause mischief. It is also common when we start to open up psychically to see those elementals. For they know you have this ability and to them its akin to having a beacon flashing above your head and they will home in and cause mischief. This may take the form of a dream or what's common you will have a sensation of waking up and feel you are being attacked by a dark figure. They cannot harm you in any shape or form nor can they possess you, a myth brought about by the catholic church. No one can take control of your physical body or your soul, only you can do this. Your soul is fixed in your physical body until the point of death and then passes over to the spirit realms. Yes these experiences may be frightening but that's all they can do frighten but they cannot harm or hurt you in any way. When you develop psychically a bit more all you need do is tell them to get lost and they will go.
DOWSING
What is Dowsing?
It is the ability to use our natural sensitivity our intuition , which we all possess, that enables us to know things, to locate things which we cannot know or do by using our conscious mind, or by learning, or by experience, or by using the five physical senses which we are born with in effect it enables us to tap into our sixth sense our intuition, our inherent psychic ability we all possess. Dowsing enables us to locate anything in the world without having to travel there. Distance, depth, height, date, location don't seem to make any difference
How Does it Work?
The short answer is that no-one really knows – it just does!. The scientific world, geologists and archaeologists and so on appear to put their heads in the sand because here is something that cannot be Proved nor can it be Disproved scientifically. However it is surprising how many water, mining, oil companies and so on use dowsers in exploration work – it is never admitted because it may take away the credibility of the large concern – increasingly police forces etc. will use the services of a dowser.
All that can be said is that it is an in-built ability within man from the beginning of time, it helped him to find his food and water and his minerals thus to survive and protect us from danger. In addition it helped him to communicate with other members of his tribe at a distance and there are still in this world so-called primitive tribes who have these natural abilities to this day. Gradually over the centuries our so called sophistication and civilisation etc. have stifled these natural abilities, plus, of course, condemnation by the church particularly in the period of about 1610 until the late 1700’s and even today when it was and is, by some, considered the work of the devil. I firmly believe that it is some primeval and natural instinct that lies deep within us all, the Mind which has the ability to receive communication from the Universal Mind that knows and controls everything that there has ever been, that there is and ever will be – God. I firmly believe that it is a God given gift – to everyone who is prepared to develop and use it – to be used for the benefit of our fellow man and the world in which we live. We all have an inherent ability, call it intuition, sixth sense and this can be developed by practise.

There is very little in the physical world which cannot be found by dowsing and there are many answers we can find out by dowsing with practice
It can help locate
- Water: The location of underground streams at any depth, water pipes etc
- Minerals – Precious Stones: Their location and depth
- Oil – Gas: The location of oil deposits under the land or the sea and the depth below the surface and an estimate of the quantity and the quality, also the porosity of the rock strata in which it lays.
- Archaeology: The location of unknown sites where nothing shows on the surface of the ground.
- The location of sunken ships and submarines:
- Building Sites: Examination for all purposes, the water runs underneath them, rock state, soil state, rock faults, old wells, cavities, cellars, drains, sewers, cables and pipes and so on – especially if it is intended to build on that site.
- Location of pipes, cables and drains: The line of the run, depth, location of fractured pipes, broken cables, leaks and blockages. It is particularly to farmers for searching for old or lost field drains and tracing water supplies from farm to field and field to field for animal drinking troughs and so on.
- Location of tunnels, caves, lost mine workings: The demarcation, size and depth of them and flooding.
- Lost articles: Valuables, car keys, rings, brooches, purses, wallets to name but a few.
- Missing people: This is one of the most difficult tasks owing to the difficulty of identification and should be undertaken with care and careful preparation – bear in mind that some people deliberately ‘disappear’ for their own personal reasons and have no wish to be found.
- Tracking lost animals or children or perhaps someone elderly and confused in areas of ,say, woodland:
- Medical: A number of qualified doctors and others are increasingly using dowsing techniques to assist in diagnosis and the selection of remedies.
- Animals: Pendulum dowsing can be used to locate health problems in animals and help in the selection of remedies. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons accepts this course of action providing the services of a vet are called for if it is considered that the animal needs professional help.
What do I need to be able to dowse?
The pendulum: This is a simple weight on the end of a piece of cord or light chain, a key on the end of a bit of cord to a ring or a crystal. I use a piece of hazel twig for indoor working and a heavier crystal for out doors, simply because you need something that will be heavy enough not to be blown around by the wind. The pendulum is the most versatile tool for use in ‘map dowsing’ and straight question and answer type of dowsing. Before asking a question when dowsing double check but asking a question you know the answer to. e.g. ask the pendulum to give you a yes and it will swing in a particular way with me it is clockwise and and I also ask an obvious question is my name and give your name, this way you are checking the direction of the answer. For me no it swings anti clockwise and if its not a suitable time to ask or if the question is not understood it will swing backwards and forwards
Angle rods: The easiest and simplest of all tools to use. They are just lengths of wire bent at right angles and can be made quite easily from old metal coat-hangers, welding rods, thin brass rod, thick wire., for example; take a pair of wire coat hangers and cut them so that the top is about 9 to 12 inches long and from the angle towards the hook for hanging, about 4 to 5 inches long, then, having cut it, bend the angle to 90 degrees. The short length is held in the hand as the handle, though if its windy and you are using them to locate something outside its best to use something a bit heavier as in brass etc.
Wands: These are just springy lengths of thin branch about 36 inches long and are ideal for dowsing up a wall, for example following the path of an old chimney – these tend to meander up the walls of old houses. A modern materials are taking over and the usual wand is a 36 inch length of fairly thin plastic.
When you dowse focus on the object you are trying to locate and don't tense up keep relaxed so as you don't interfere consciously with the tool you are using. When you are trying to locate something you have lost in your home make a list of questions that can be answered by yes or no. and go through the list methodically e.g. is my lost ring in the bedroom, is it in the living room until you narrow it down, when you have double checked this answer break it down further divide the room into sections and again ask the questions is it in this quarter of the room until you have narrowed it to enable a through search of the area. Like all skills it needs practise.
THE TAROT
I am not going into how to read the Tarot in any great depth as every reader has their own way of using them and every reader has their favourite pack, mine is the Mythic Tarot, but rather talk about how they came about and dispel any myths about them.
There are many theories as to how they came about one was that Gypsies are said to have carried the cards to Europe and "gypsy" is considered a corrupt form of "Egyptian." They were considered by the Church to be "the devil's picture book", and the cards were quickly condemned by the Catholic Church as heretical. Just to possess them was a dangerous act. There seems no doubt that the cards were a means for preservation of ancient knowledge that the Church considered dangerous, or heretical, at a time when it was literally a danger to your life to believe anything other than the established Church dogma. Like everything at this time the Church wielded great power and in order to assert power and control over the people, it did not like what IT considered anything other than its established beliefs
Another theory was that the Tarot was first known a Tronfi and later known as Taoocci or Tarock and originated from the 15th century in parts of Europe. They were used to play an Italian game known as Tarocchini and French Tarot

There seems no doubt that the cards were a means for preservation of ancient knowledge that the Church considered dangerous, or heretical, at a time when it was literally a danger to your life to believe anything other than the established Church dogma. Like everything at this time the Church wielded great power and in order to assert power and control over the people, it did not like what IT considered anything other than its established beliefs

TAROT "THE STAR"
'THE STAR' ONE OF THE MAJOR ARCANA
The card illustrated above is known as the Star and this particular card is from the Mythic Tarot and the deck I prefer to use. It's literal meaning is when we see this card in a reading, it tells of a very potent wish. The surrounding cards can provide more details about the wish, and sometimes whether or not it will actually come true. Often, the Star keeps popping up when there's something we're looking forward to that has not yet materialized. A lot like other major cards, this one seems to appear and reappear until either the inevitable happens, or there is a change in course. In the Mythic Tarot, the Star is Pandora - opening the forbidden box that released human suffering upon mankind. This helps remind us to be careful what we wish for, because our thoughts and dreams are very powerful. On the other hand, sometimes the creatures within are all butterflies, ladybugs, fireflies and fairies. Your box of wishes and dreams just might be filled with all the beauty you ever imagined, and more.
This card is often known as "the wish card" and reading the tarot is an individual thing, every reader has their own method and yes you will get good results if you stick to the pure standard meanings of the card. I will even go on to say, if you get a good tarot book you can learn all the meanings of the cards by rote and you don't even have to be psychic to do this, you will still get good results. But you will get more depth, more insight and more clarity is you allow your intuition free reign and allow your psychic abilities to flow through.
How I personally see this card in a reading. I see it as hope, that all is not lost and depending on the other cards in a reading it can neutralise any negativity and convey there is still hope and your wish has been acknowledged. I always tell my clients when this card comes up and ask them to concentrate on their dearest wish as this card can help manifest it in reality. It is a very positive card in a reading. I always tell clients too, be careful what you wish for as it can come true.
TAROT "THE DEVIL"
When this card comes up in a reading people see it as something to fear and something evil and people then get the wrong assumption of tarot. The tarot is merely a tool of guidance and clarity.
Literal meaning: the Devil card often implies that it is time to face, and look at these shadow sides of ourselves. In owning these shadow parts, we can also free up the creative energy used to suppress these hidden parts, and learn how to accept ourselves and others as being human with all of our flaws.

Basically how I read it, it's time to take stock and control of your life, you have allowed situations and others to control you, this was because of your own fears and weaknesses and that there is part of your own psyche you didn't like, now its time to face up to all your faults, warts and all and do something about it. Essentially it means change and the time has come to change what you do not like about yourself, this will give you a new found freedom and you can break free from these shackles
SCRYING
Scrying is a practice that involves seeing things psychically in an object usually for purposes of obtaining spiritual visions and less often for purposes of divination. The most common objects used are reflective, translucent, or luminescent substances such as crystals, stones, glass, mirrors, water, fire, or smoke. Scrying has been used in many cultures as a means of divining the past, present, or future. Depending on the culture and practice, the visions that come when one stares into the objects are thought to come from God, spirits, the psychic or the subconscious.
Although scrying is most commonly done with a crystal ball, it may also be performed using any smooth surface, such as a bowl of liquid, a pond, or a crystal. When I am reading tarot I use a combination method for divining the cards, I am aware of the basic meanings of each card but I take this on to a much deeper level by scrying the illustrations on the cards themselves. In actual fact Scrying doesn't just stop at water, glass, smoke etc. tea leaves, coffee grounds, sand ,candle flames and a fire even the clouds can be used.
Scrying has be used by many cultures and belief systems and is not limited to one tradition or ideology, like other aspects of divination and parapsychology, scrying is not supported by mainstream science as a method of predicting the future or otherwise seeing events that are not physically observable.
The visions that scryers say they see may come from variations in the object used. If the object used is water (hydromancy), then the visions may come from the colour, ebb and flow, or ripples produced by pebbles dropped in a pool. If the object used is a crystal ball, the visions may come from the tiny scratches, marks, faults, or the cloudy glow within the ball under low light (e.g., candlelight). One method of scrying using a crystal ball involves a self-induced trance and when in this state it is perceived to be able to tap into our subconscious mind or higher self and be able to key into psychic vibrations and Universal knowledge
One of the most famous scryers in history, lived in the 16th century and was known as Nostradamus. He used a bowl of water or a "magic mirror" to "see" the future in it, while he was in trance.
TASSEOGRAPHY THE ART OF READING TEA LEAVES
Was something traditionally carried out by women, it was something practiced by my beloved grandmother herself a spiritualist Medium.
To do this you will need a wide cup and saucer and loose tea, tea bags are no use what so ever, or coarse ground coffee and do not strain the tea/coffee when pouring it into the cup.
Before even drinking the tea/coffee you can begin the reading, bubbles on the surface after pouring suggests money is on the way, if any tea leaves are floating on the surface, then visitors are imminent. The number of leaves shows how many days away they are, if two teaspoons are accidently placed on a saucer, then you can expect news of twins soon.
After you have drunk the tea/coffee as much as you can without drinking the leaves/grounds tip the cup upside down on to the saucer and turn round three times clockwise, then up turn and you are ready to begin the reading.
Look at the arrangement of the leaves look for patterns and images, are the scattered fewly suggesting a tidy ordered life or are there lots suggesting a rich and busy life.
Hold the cup so the handle faces the questioner and this represents the questioner and their home how far the leaves are away from the handle represents how far the symbols are away from the questioner. Leaves that lie to the rim of the cup represent recent events and leaves that lie close to the bottom of the cup represent the distant past and leaves on the bottom represent misfortune. Leaves that lie to the right of the handle indicate the future, and leaves to the left of the handle indicate the past. The further away the leaves lie from the handle, the further away the events are in either time or even physical distance.
Look inside the cup what are your first impressions. Any distinct drops of tea or coffee that remain in the cup despite the swirling and emptying of the cup, represent tears. A very large clump of tea leaves indicates trouble. Near the handle - trouble caused by your own making. Opposite the handle - the trouble is not your fault.Tea-stalks indicate people. Long stalks indicate men. Shorter stalks indicate women. Pale or dark stalks indicate colouring. Slanted stalks indicate untrustworthy people.

Palmistry is the art of reading character and destiny from the shape of the hand and the lines of the palm. The palm gives us a map of our life and it is up to us to make the most of it. It is important to note that the lines of the hand can change, for better or for worse. Nothing is set in stone and we have free will to change our future. Life is what we make it.
Bear in mind this is just a rough guide and I know when I am reading palms I use the hands purely as a gateway to tap in to what is going in and around the client. It's relatively easy to learn the lines and know what they mean but to go that bit deeper you need to tap into the client's auric field.
LEFT OR RIGHT-HANDED
The hand you use is called the major, or outer hand. This indicates any future events, as well as what you are like on the outside.
The other hand is the minor, or inner hand. This shows your potential, as well as what you are like on the inside.
Right-handed people tend to be more logical because that part is connected to the analytical, left side of the brain.

Left-handed people tend to be more creative because that part is connected to the intuitive, right side of the brain.
HOW THE HAND FEELS
The texture and feel of the hand is important in an initial assessment. Is it soft? Or hard? Does it bend easily under pressure or is it very rigid? The job has no relevance to the feel of the hand: manual workers can have soft hands and office workers can have hard hands.
People with really soft hands are refined, sensitive and prefer genteel activities. Hard-skinned people are tough and prefer plenty of activity and concrete matters.
Some people’s hands are really pliable and bendy: this indicates an easy going and flexible nature. If you have really stiff hands this shows a determined/stubborn nature. You tend to hold your ground!
FINGER LENGTH
The length of the fingers supplies various information about the character. A long-fingered person is analytical and academic, liking to study things in detail. A person with markedly short fingers is very practical and intuitive, liking to go with their gut instinct. When the hands are in proportion it shows a balanced personality. The proportion of the fingers in relation to each other is very important. They each stand for a character marking and indicate the strength of that quality.
- Forefinger: Confidence, ego, ambition, drive.
- Middle finger: Discipline, balance.
- Ring finger: Emotional expression, creativity.
- Little finger: Communication.
- A balanced ego is indicated when the forefinger reaches the bottom of the nail of the middle finger.
- Balanced emotions are indicated when the ring finger reaches the bottom of the nail of the middle finger.
- Great confidence is indicated when the fore finger reaches past the bottom of the nail of the middle finger.
- Very emotional and creative impulses are indicated when the ring finger reaches past the bottom of the nail of the middle finger.
- A lack of confidence is indicated when the fore finger doesn’t reach past the bottom of the nail of the middle finger.
- Blocked emotions are indicated when the ring finger doesn’t reach past the bottom of the nail of the middle finger.
- When the middle finger is prominent, standing out from the rest, it shows a serious and intense nature.
- When the little finger stands out naturally from your hand it shows an independent and outspoken nature.
- The thumb, nails and fingerprints are very important in hand analysis. This guide is too brief for a detailed explanation.
Rings on the fingers can indicate character traits.
- Forefinger: Overbearing ego; or compensating for a lack of confidence.
- Middle finger: Materialistic nature; needing security.
- Ring finger: This is conventional and is only noted if there are multiple or large rings adorning it. If this is the case then emotional or creative frustration could be present.
- Little finger: It is common to see this in the gay community, especially on the left-hand. Otherwise you'll see a lot of businessmen, showbiz people, and anybody else who likes to accumulate fame, status and money.
- The affect of the rings is enhanced if they are on both hands, and by their size. A hand covered with jewellery shows emotional armour: the person is hiding behind their rings, finding it hard to be themselves.
LIFE LINE
The life line travels around the thumb. This tells us about the subject’s physical health: the stronger the line the better the physical constitution. If the line looks weak and frayed then it could be a sign of delicate health. Again it is worth noting that we can’t make a deduction from one line alone as other markings might compensate the weakness. The line also tells us about particular events in the subject’s life, especially big changes and the affects of other people.
HEAD LINE
The Head line has the same starting point as the life line (near the thumb) and then goes across the palm. It shows the the way you think. The longer it is the more potential you have. And the clearer it is the more strong-minded / focused you are.
A straight head line shows a practical and logical person. They can be over-analytical, especially when it comes to love.
A gently curving head line shows a balance between the practical and the creative. They have their feet on the ground and are flexible enough to adapt. A steeply curving head line shows a very imaginative and creative person. They have plenty of ideas and inspiration but can find it difficult to keep their feet on the ground.
HEART LINE
The heart line stands for your emotions. It starts from the edge of the hand (from the little finger side) and travels across the top of the palm. It is especially important when it comes to relationships. When the heart line ends between the forefinger and the middle finger it means you are emotional and passionate.
When the heart line ends underneath the middle finger it means that you can be self-centered in relationships and need to consider your partner more. When the heart line travels across the top of the hand it means you are more interested in the mental side of the relationship. You don't like great displays of emotion.
When the heart line is short and doesn't go past the middle finger it means you are very cool with your emotions and the physical side is the most important thing in relationships. When the heart line ends in a fork it shows a balance with your emotions: you are very adaptable in that sphere.
HEART / HEAD LINE COMBINATIONS
The lines have various markings on them. This guide is very brief but you will see how these two lines are inter-related to each other. This modifies the meaning and gives texture to the interpretation.
When the heart line appears low in the hand and looks like it’s pushing down on the head line, it means that you are ruled by your emotions.
When the head line appears high in the hand and looks like it’s pushing up on the heart line, it means that you are ruled by your intellect. The gap between the heart line and the head line is called the quadrangle. When it is narrow it means you could be close-minded.
When the quadrangle is wide it means you are probably open-minded. If the quadrangle starts narrow and gets wider it means you become more open as you get older.
The gap between the beginning of the head line and the life line is significant. A wide space means an independent nature from an early age. If the two lines are tied together it means a cautious nature-especially if they look chained which means shyness.

WHY DO WE NEED PSYCHIC PROTECTION?

Think about how many thoughts you have in a day, thousands, some of those are positive and that is great, however some of those are negative and all those thoughts we send out into the cosmos. SIMPLE PROTECTION
These are some of the simple methods below
Strengthening the Aura.
Cleansing with aroma, (any light scent will do that you like) first inhale the scent in cupped hands, then sweep over the body and down to the ground. It is possible to obtain special preparations for this, but any light scented perfume will do, and even better if you particularly like it!
Cleansing the Chakra's also helps to protect. Imagine that you are surrounded by a bubble of light, and that nothing can penetrate it unless you wish it to! Extend this to family and especially CAR. In difficult situations, crystallize the outside of the bubble for extra protection! Use crystals for protection (double terminators & quartz)
Protective mirrors in bad attacks.
If you know what direction the harm is coming from, place a small mirror in your window facing that direction saying:-
"Mirror bright-mirror clear protect from harm all who bide here"
Instead of the bubble exercise you may use a hooded, floor length cloak or a shield decorated with a protective design of your choice. The shield idea is versatile as you can use a ‘mini shield’ over any area you feel vulnerable, such as your solar plexus.
If you shower in the morning visualise the water flowing through your energy field carrying away any negativity down the plughole with it. If you prefer a bath you may add sea or rock salt to the water- about a cupful- dissolve it well. Salt has long been renowned for its cleansing properties.
Visualise a shower of light running through your aura and dissolving any negativity.
Stay grounded. Visualise roots growing deep down into the Earth from the soles of your feet. Being ‘well grounded’ offers a great deal of protection. Practice your grounding visualisation every morning and whenever you feel ‘spacey’. Carry hematite or another grounding stone with you if necessary.

Every time you have a thought you create a thought form and that thought form is an energy that goes out into the Cosmos and can create an effect. You should never wish ill on anyone for everything you do you get back tenfold. If someone has hurt you no matter how much it hurts send them out healing energy and love, so that they might see the error of their ways. Allow the Universe and Karma to deal with wrong doers, for Karma will always find them and deal with them in the most appropriate way.
A SIMPLE CANDLE SPELL
This is just a simple generic candle spell that you can adapt to most anything you need. If you use it, please use it wisely. Don't use it to interfere with anyone else's life.
Find a spot where you will not be disturbed for awhile, and will have reasonable quiet. Use a flat level service, such as an altar. If you don't have an altar, you can use a coffee table or dresser. You can perform this spell during the day, or at night. If you do it at night, you can turn the lights off, but if it makes you uncomfortable, leave them on.
You will need a candle, oil for anointing the candle, one or more herbs corresponding to the spell. You will also need your athame, or straight pin if you don't have an athame. You can also use stones if you want. Check herb and color correspondences for the appropriate color, herb and oils. The shape of the candle does not really matter. Taper or Votive candles will work. If you can't find the color you need, use plain white.
Carve what you wish to accomplish into the candle with the athame or pin. If you are using a taper, carve the words from top to bottom, for increasing and bottom to top for decreasing. If you are using a votive candle, carve it around the candle clockwise for increasing, counterclockwise for decreasing.
Anoint the candle with the oil. A drop is enough. Rub from wick to end for increasing and end to wick for decreasing.
Put the candle in the holder. Sprinkle the herbs in a circle around the base of the candle, a pinch is more than enough. If you are using stones, set them in a circle around the candle holder. If you are using just one stone, set it beside the holder in the direction that corresponds to the purpose of your spell. For example, if you were doing a spell to increase your physical energy, you might set the stone in the south.
Light the candle. As you light the candle, visualize what you want to accomplish. To do this, think of what you need and hold a picture of it in your mind. You can also use a chant at this point or just say what you want to happen out loud. This is optional, in my opinion, visualization is the most effective.
Let the candle burn out completely if possible. DO Not leave it unattended.If you have to leave or go to sleep, put the candle out and relight it as soon as you can. No matter how safe you think your candle holders are, accidents can happen. ALWAYS monitor your candles, and use fireproof holders.
When the candle has burned out, dispose of the wax and herbs. Bury it if possible.
Color Correspondences
Votives: can be used same as above, for a shorter burning time. The advantage of votives in a glass holder is that you can anoint the full candle with oils and herbs before you put them in the holder. Again put them on a metal or stone surface in the interests of fire safety.
Method and ingredients
Take nine iron nails (carpet tacks will do) and place them in a dark glass bottle with sprigs of rosemary, sour milk that's begun to curdle and some cheap red wine that has gone sour
Cork the bottle and shake it saying: "May venom and viciousness coil like poisonous snakes and bottle up the evil that is done to me"
Purify a drain with a few drops of fenugreek or pine dissolved in warm water with a sprinkling of some salt.
Shake the bottle well and tip the contents down the drain saying words such as:
Pain, misery flow from me
Flow not to the sea
Flow back to he or she
Inflicter of disharmony
Wheresoever you may be
You can do this ritual also for anonymous letters, phone calls or unidentifiable malice
Rinse out the bottle with very hot water and tip any remnants away, rinsing until the water from the bottle runs clear
When the bottle is empty say:
I have returned the pain
Send it not again
Purify the bottle by placing a clear quartz crystal in it with pure spring water and leave it uncorked for a sun and moon cycle
I have performed this many times to good effect to send back negativity to where it originated

- White: All Purpose, but especially good for purification, protection, truth, Maiden Aspect of the Goddess
- Black: protection, absorbing negative energies, Crone Aspect of the Goddess, reversing and transforming negativity, removing obstacles or blocks
- Red: Protection, energy, defense, element of fire, Mother Aspect of the Goddess, passionate love, motivation, action being taken
- Pink: calm, love, reconciliation, children, peace
- Blue: truth, creativity,protection, element of water
- Green: Money, Prosperity, abundance, element of earth, success, marriage
- Gold: The God, The sun, healing, prosperity
- Silver: the goddess, the moon,neutralizing negative energies
- Purple: protection, divination, psychic abilities, change luck, removing negative energies and spells, spiritual protection
- Yellow: divination, element of air, healing, intellect
- Magenta: added to any spell to speed results
- Indigo: neutralize negative magic or negative energies
You can use most any type of candle with success. As long as the intention and faith it there, the candle doesn’t much matter. 7-day vigil or 2 day jar candles: these take a bit of time to burn out. They come glass encased and need no holder. You can carve your spell intent into the top of the candle, clockwise for increasing, counterclockwise for decreasing, or you can add a label to the jar with your spell intent. Anoint the top of the candle as stated above. If you use herbs, use a VERY light sprinkling, as they make it more likely the candle will catch fire and the glass will split. A good idea is to place them in a metal container in case the glass cracks which happens occasionally. They are good when you need an extra energy boost because of their tendency to burn a long time.

Watch how your candles burn for signs as to how successful your spell may be. Your best result is where most of the wax is used and there is little or no blackness or soot. Soot can mean obstacles or adversity., and its wise to do a cleansing or working to remove these obstacles. Candles going out are also a VERY bad sign and may require repeated workings to wear down resistance.
A SPELL 'SENDING BACK THE PAIN'
RITUAL FOR SENDING BACK NEGATIVITY TO WHERE IT ORIGINATED
It is never justifiable to curse or hex anyone, it is wrong and you have to remember the laws of the Universe what you give out you will get back tenfold. However that does not mean you have to tolerate being bullied or attacked by anyone for this can result in unhappiness and can if it goes on resulting in physical illness. Sometimes no matter what you do to try and resolve something and even report it to the appropriate authority that doesn't cause it to cease. You cannot wish ill on them for bad vibes will always rebound on the sender of negative magic but what you can do is return the pain to the perpetrator. You are not mentioning names but merely returning ill will and negativity back to where it came from.
This ritual is most effective when carried out at the time of a waning moon or on any moonless night.
Method and ingredients
